Quick and Fabulous Cards

......................
So one of my customers was showing me the Christmas cards she made using the 'I Wish' Simply Scrappin' Kit. Don't they look fabulous? She told me that one of her friends thought that she had bought them. And she's relatively new to card making. I thought this would be a great example to post on my blog as to how easy it is to get professional looking cards, by using the Simply Scrappin' kits.

Odin's Card

My new nephew has arrived. Welcome Odin Henry Jack Horvath! The little guy was born last night. So here is my congratulations card to celebrate this fabulous day. He was a week late, so I figured that the sticker "worth the wait" was very appropriate. I used the retired Simply Scrappin' kit Special Delivery Boy! I still miss last years In Colours. So I decided to use the kit and thought, I need to check out Splitcoast Stampers to find the perfect card to CASE. So I finally sat down and tried to directly case a card I found off of Splitcoast. What I discovered was the splitcoast Dirty Dozen. I cased their sites and I am enamoured with Dawn Easton's site TreasureOiler. Now she's from Edmonton and loves the Oilers ice hockey team, and I, of course, being from Vancouver, am a die-hard Canucks fan. And the Oilers are our arch rivals. But I tried to ignore that when I viewed her site. Her cards are beautiful. Anyway, I looked over her recent posts and started with one card to CASE, and then decided to change it a bit, so it looked a bit like another of her cards. Eventually I hd to give up with which card exactly it was that I CASE'd. Some would call this my own design, but I'm so confused that I thought I better give credit for my inspiration. And by the way, Odin is 24 hours old now and both Mom and baby are doing excellent.

Great Christmas Gift!

This is a fabulous idea!!! Are you looking for a gift for the person who has everything?? This is a cute and useful case for a CD. I learned how to make this from a fabulous Demonstrator:Alison Solven. It's super easy to put together and looks fabulous and professional. You can put information like recipes on it, or a CD of photos. I have my wedding photo CD in one of these. They make great gifts for new parents to store their baby photos CD in. You can personalize the message on front, or inside. The example above is made for a christmas gift to a family member with family photos on a CD inside. I am going to print out a few examples of the photos and paste them on the inside pages of this folder. Check out my calendar for when this class is available. $20 and you can do one for family, memories, baby, birthday, or wedding. You could also do one for music or for information like recipes. When you sign up, let me know which one you'd like and I'll order the supplies. I can't wait to do this class.

24 cards for $25!!! November 22nd!
I am so proud of this display. I just can't wait to teach this class on Nov 22nd. There aren't many spaces left, so let me know soon. You need to let me know before next friday so that I can order enough supplies. I bought this display board from Michael's tonight. Doesn't this look really professional?? I had to laugh because it's almost like Stampin Up and Elmer's got together and coordinated the colours perfectly. My husband was laughing at how closely the reds were. I had to teach him that SU calls this Real Red! Remember that this class will take 3 hours as we're making 24 cards!!! I can't wait to see you there.
24 cards for $25!!!!

So I sat down today and took my "I Wish" Simply Scrapping kit and a pack of Very Vanilla cardstock and got 24 cards! My poor children were not feeling well today and took 2 naps each, but this left me with lots of time to play in my craft room. So if you think my Stamp a Stack cards are not Christmasy enough colours, I'm offering these 24 cards as an 'I WISH' Christmas Card class on Nov 22. The only catch is that you NEED to let me know if you're interested by Nov 15 as I need to order in the supplies. My card classes do not include the cost of envelopes, but I can sell you what you need at my cost.
