Cutie Alert

When I saw the colours over at The Paper Players this week, I knew I had to play along.

But I wanted to make this page quickly.  So it only took me about an hour.
 My creative process works sl-ow-ly.

The colours reminded me of the Fan Fair suite.
So I pulled up the designer template for the Fan Fair Suite and went to work.

First I found a layout I liked.  Then I set about changing the colours of the embellishments.
But it didn't work for me, so then I changed the background paper to Downtown Grunge.
Then I cropped a piece of the Fan Fair DSP to get the little sentiment which I found really apropriate.  Then I went through these pictures from our photoshoot in June, and pulled up the ones of the kids being goofy.  These are my two kids and my brother's two boys.

Then I added the photos, and the frames around them.
I added several overlays from the Vintage Overlay stamps.
Then I added the Date, and voila!

They're kinda cute - dontcha think??

Awesome photos, Sandra! You really showcased them beautifully with your layout, too. Hey, even at an hour you are working MUCH faster then I am with MDS. Lol! It's a learning process, right? One which you continuously ROCK! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
