Every Little Bit Dwell

I just love that little house.  This kit is so cute - perfect for Thanksgiving.
I especially like the little pocket cards.  And the colors in this kit just work so well.
Deena Rutter has done it again.

Thanks for coming by today.

New Deena Rutter

Here's a quick card I whipped up with Deena Rutter's latest digital kit
I just love the colors in this kit.  I pulled out some old Stampin' Up Build a Brad's to make the centres of the flowers - so easy and so cute right?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Colour Q Challenge #232

My daughter's soccer team had their last game this week.  I whipped up some "Thank You" cards for the coaches.  I'll post the rest up in the next few weeks.  This card was for the head coach, and it fit perfectly into the challenge for Colour Q this week.

I used a digital image of a soccer ball that I found online, and the ribbon and paper are from Stampin' Up!

Pals Paper Arts #188

I've been desperately wanting to play with my newest kit
And because it's a school themed kit, I have actually made the
thank you cards for my kids teachers a few months early.
I know,  any excuse for a card right??

This adorable kit is called Paper and Glue
and it's by Echo Park paper Co.
I tried out the sketch at Pals Paper Arts this week for inspiration.

Thanks again for stopping by.

The Ready Made Embellishment challenge from Moxie Fab

I used some preprinted cards and the matching paperstack to create this card.  It's all from American Craft.  The flowers are stickers and die cuts that I made into a bouquet.  I cut the jar our of the paper and popped it up on pop dots.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up! and I carefully cut it out so that it fit on the jar like a label.

Stampin Royalty Challenge #191

Welcome to Wednesday and another challenge from Stampin' Royalty.
This week our challenge is fairly simple.

The Shape of Things...
Circles, circles, and more circles.

I pulled out all my circle punches and went to work.  I've seen tons of pages and cards done with the Silhouette machine, and I was really tempted to dust mine off and get to work, but then I pulled out the punches and was really happy with what I came up with.  So I pulled out some of my new In colour Card Stock and mounted up those circles to make this card.

The background is Coastal Cabana.  The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso from the Kindness Matters stamp set.

Stampin Royalty Challenge#184

This week at Stampin' Royalty we are challenging you to make a

SINGLE LAYER  card.

Thank goodness for clear mount stamps.  I made this card without a stamp-ama-jig, and it turned out pretty well.

Thanks for stopping by!

For the Teacher part 2

Here's another card I made for my children's teachers.
I used a lot of retired Stampin' Up! product.

The Storyteller paper was perfect for this.

I added a few vintage trinkets.

And a few of these flowers from the kit in the last mini.
Here's the complete card.  I am really enjoying collages these days.

HSS Sketch Challenge #160

I pulled out some retired product to make this card.
Tomorrow I'll post why Domestic Goddess was the perfect paper for this card.
I used the layout from Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.

I stamped each layer of the stamp in the colours on the paper.
Then I carefully cut out each colour and paper pieced it together to get the sentiment.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #169

I needed to make a ThankYou card for a colleague,
and decided to pull ou the International Bazzar DSP.

Then I lined up the Sweet Sunday sketch as my inspiration.

Here's some closeups of the details.

It's actually a hybrid card as I printed out the sentiment using MDS2.
It's so nice that it still fits in the Window's Framelit.

I hand cut out the blue layer by hand and roughed it up with a pair of scissors.

The middle band of Pacific Point blue was embossed with the latest Embossing folder.
I then sponged on a bit of Very Vanilla Craft in to make the embossing realy pop.

Finally I added the little apple clip as the card is for a Teacher Colleague of mine.
