Stampin Royalty challenge #127

It's Wednesday, and that means another fabulous challenge over at Stampin Royalty.  Don't forget to hop on over and check out the fabulous samples from the Design Team.  This week the challenge is an awesome sketch.
I really enjoyed making this card.

I pulled out a bunch of retired stuff to complete this card.  I just couldn't let that fantastic DSP go to waste.  But there's also some cute new items like the below sentiment and die cut from the Apothecary Labels Framelits.  And that fantastic colour Gumball Green.

And this set, Little Princess is now retired, as are the pink Rhinestons from the last Occasions Mini.

The colours in this card are mostly retired as well.  There's Blushing Bride and Concord Crush, of course.

How about this fabulous pleated satin ribbon. - so fabulous.

And here's the completed card.  So much fun.  The rosette was created from the retired Blushing Bride DSP Patterned Paper.  The Sentiment was stamped, die cut out, and attached onto a piece of Concord crush.  Then I very caraefully hand cut out the whole thing to matte it on concord Crush.

More Retiring Stamps Retrospective

Here we continue my retrospective of retiring stamps.  The frame stamp on this card is from the Notably Ornate stamp set.  I will be sad to see this one go.  Thankfully I have the digital copy in My Digital Studio, and that never retires!!

Retiring Stamps Retrospective

This card ws made last March 2011, so there are a lot of different products on it.  I really miss that retired pom pom trim.  But anyway, this card uses several stamp sets, but the one that is retiring next month is Fifth Avenue Floral.  Click here for the original post with more details.

Retrospective of Retiring Stamps

With soooooooo  many amazing stamps retiring soon, I thought I'd take a peek through some of my cards made with these retiring stamps.  Today's card was originally posted on January 19, 2011.

This is one of my favourite cards EVER!
It uses the stamp set "Oval All"

Retrospective of Retired Stamps

This is a cute card that I made for a swap at Vancouver Regionals last year.  The heart is from the retiring set I {heart} Hearts.  I really love this set and I will really miss it.  Click here for all the details of my original post.

As an aside, I was completely tickled to see this card show up on the display boards at Convention last summer.
