Another Clean & Simple SPCC Challenge

Time for another Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo Challenge. This card was made using 3 of the new In Colours. I LOVE the new In Colours (in case you haven't figured that out yet)

I also combined this colour challenge with the Clean & Simple sketch this week.

This card really stumped me. I really wanted to make this a clean & simple card, but yet I really wanted to try my hand at this colour combo. So I pulled out my In Colours and the Lovely Flowers Bundle which is a new Level 3 hostess set. I used the small flower stamp to stamp out the strip down the left. I call this the faux DSP effect. Next I used a large rub-on from the set and stamped the same smaller image in Soft Suede. I wanted to bring the Bahama Breeze into the flowers. So I traced the images with my Versa Marker and then found a similar coloured chalk to sponge over it. I used this ribbon from my stash instead of the matching polka dot grosgrain because the colour was a bit overwhelming and the ribbon was too thick for the layout of the card. The sentiment is from the rub-ons and if you look closely you can see that the smaller flower is popped up on dimensionals. I used the Melon Mambo to mount a piece of whisper white on the interior of the card.
